From our first assignments designing and developing display ads on buyer campaigns, our journey has grown to involve us in numerous aspects of eBay’s ongoing creative development.
In an ongoing near-decade of partnership with eBay, we’ve been at their side, wherever they’ve needed us. From ongoing design, copy and strategy support throughout southern Europe and the Russian Federation, to special multichannel campaigns in Germany and Emerging European Countries (EEC), to event design in Singapore and the roll out of the eBay for Business rebrand across Europe, we continue to grow and evolve with the global brand.

Our continuous work with eBay is concentrated on 4 main spheres, and for each we have a dedicated team in Moskito Design. Our 3 core teams are B2C eBay Buyer, B2B eBay Seller, and Trade Marketing, and each works on special or ongoing campaigns involving digital strategy, graphic design, social media and video, HTML newsletters, inventory design and physical events.
What’s more, Moskito Design works as a part of the eBay digital marketing ecosystem, using shared tools to task, manage, update and edit campaigns from the inside.
Finally, our dedicated ADV team works as an extension of eBay to sell and manage non-eBay advertising on the platform.
From massive once-a-year Black Friday events to regular recurrent Deals campaigns, our deliverables combine digital and motion design, multilingual copywriting and front-end development.
Our marketing team works hand in hand with eBay campaign managers to perform and manage detailed internal processes, using eBay tools, interfacing with eBay technical specialists, and uploading directly to eBay sites. It’s not account management, but project management. And it frees up campaign managers to do what only they can do, while giving them a team to rely on throughout a complete campaign cycle involving strategy, monitoring and optimization.

Campaigns can run in specific sites in single country markets like Germany, across regions like FRITES (France, Italy and Spain), Emerging European Countries (EEC), or the vast Rest of World (ROW) region that covers 100 up and coming markets throughout the globe, including Russia. We create and localize campaigns for all these markets with our in-house team of copywriters in English, French, Italian, Spanish, German and Portogeuse.
While eBay is synonymous with ecommerce, there are plenty of special occasions to make a splash offline. From guerilla marketing B2C campaigns in major urban centers, to B2B Seller events leveraging the biggest jumbo screen in the world, to the Pride Parade (video made in collaboration with Andrea De Taddeo) and Color Run in nearby Milan, we love breaking the fourth wall to create campaigns in three dimensions.
