Brief
Irca, the Gallarate, Italy-based leader in the pastry and baking supplies sector, came to us to create a brand identity for their new international training center and cooking school.
Approach
The new brand identity had to capture the forward-looking spirit of a growing, R&D-inspired company training new pastry chefs in one of history’s oldest (and most delicious) arts. Our naming choice Academy points back to that classical Greek epitome of higher learning, while the bold arrow logo evokes the A of Academy and points unambiguously toward the future.
Action
We designed the logo and payoff for use in all digital and print corporate communication, and create a brand style guide for the company’s marketing team. Additionally, we created a series of stylish PowerPoint presentation templates and icons for their digital app. Finally, we created interior signage at reception and throughout the Academy. The fully branded Irca Academy was launched to great acclaim at the company’s first official family day.
